Let's see...
--An honest-to-God letter sent out today to someone I don't frequently communicate with, but who's been an important influence upon me. My sixth-grade teacher, if you can believe it. I'm still at least minorly-acquainted with my sixth-grade teacher, my tenth-grade homeroom teacher, my eleventh-grade writing teacher, and my twelfth-grade Spanish teacher. What can I say? Teachers rock!
--Query letters, chapter fragments and small pieces of essays and poems.
--All of this since just yesterday, because a major project was due for work Friday, and it took up my week. But now I'm on vacation, so stand back!!!
I'll estimate...about 1,500 words. This will at least quadruple for next Sunday.
To compel myself to write more consistently, I created this blog so that I had to post my word count every day. Therefore, hopefully, I have to write every day, in order to have words to count. Please feel free to do the same here by placing a comment.
Okay, this week has been busy -
ReplyDeleteLast week did about 2000 shorthand on MK3 outline, about 1200 in emails, and about 300 in fleshing out a short story.
Not sure what next week will be like.
Total is 3500
Hey, good to hear from you. Glad to hear your week was busy and productive!
DeleteAs you can see from the following posts, I might actually give you a run for your money this week. Over 4,000 words already--which for me is a ton! I may not finish the manuscript by Sunday night, but I'll be close.
Give me a run for my money!
ReplyDeleteI finally dove into MK3 yesterday and got 2600 words on that, my goal is another 6000 by Sunday night :)
Well, if you do another 6,000 words, I won't be much competition! But I'll give it my best.
